Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras or more familiarly known in the trade as PTZ cameras are what you see inside casinos. When you look up and see the smoked bubbles, inside of them, there are cameras that can as they indicate pan, tilt and zoom. While functionally these are great there is also a price tag to accompany it. The neat thing about PTZ cameras is that they can be programmed to conduct tours. So they can do all the work for you. Although a fixed camera that is being recorded will give you a constant view. So if you ever do decide on a PTZ remember that if you have it touring there is always the possibility of it missing something that happened while it was on tour. PTZ 's do though allow you to connect sensors and alarms whereby if something does happen such as motion in an area the camera can swing around to a pre-determined location.
